On-Demand and Spot pricing across AWS, Azure, and GCP, paired with independent Sysbench CPU benchmarks.
CloudBench tracks 600+ AWS EC2 instance types with live On-Demand and Spot pricing across every AWS region, paired with Sysbench CPU benchmarks we run on the actual hardware. Compare any two instances at /compare, dig into 12 months of price history, or browse the catalog by family, vCPU count, or architecture.

CloudBench is a free comparison tool for AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud compute instances. We track On-Demand and Spot pricing in real time across every AWS region and run independent Sysbench CPU benchmarks on each instance type so you can compare price, performance, and value side-by-side.
On-Demand pricing is refreshed daily. Spot pricing is ingested every 4 hours, and we keep 30 days of spot price history per instance type. The dashboard is regenerated every 6 hours so the headline numbers stay fresh.
For burstable general-purpose workloads, the cheapest current-generation option is t4g.nano at roughly $0.0042/hr On-Demand — Graviton (ARM64) silicon, 2 vCPUs, 0.5GB RAM. For x86 compatibility without burstable credits, look at t3a.nano. The home dashboard above sorts by price and lets you filter by category, vCPUs, and architecture.
We run Sysbench CPU benchmarks on a freshly provisioned instance of each type, measuring both single-core and multi-core throughput. Results are stored alongside instance metadata so every instance page shows the actual Sysbench score next to its price, letting you compute performance per dollar directly.
Vantage and instances.vantage.sh are excellent spec and pricing references. CloudBench is complementary: we run the benchmarks ourselves (not extrapolated from CPU model specs), track 12 months of On-Demand pricing history per instance, and include side-by-side comparison pages for any pair of instances. The data is free and the site is open.
Yes. Every instance page lists current pricing for all AWS regions that offer that instance, sorted by cheapest. The home page filters update pricing globally based on the region selector. Pricing data covers every AWS region including non-standard regions like ap-south-1 and me-south-1.
